Arthur Rinderknech vs Alexander Zverev prediction
Arthur Rinderknech’s best form on grass was found at Queen’s Club. He advanced through the qualifying stages and then beat big serving Americans Ben Shelton and Reilly Opelka to make the last eight. He faced Carlos Alcaraz for the second time at the tournament. Despite pushing him all the way in 2023, this was a more comfortable match for the Spaniard who wrapped up a straight sets win. The Frenchman also competed in Stuttgart and Mallorca, going out in the second-round.
Alexander Zverev breezed through to the final of Stuttgart without the drop of a set but lost to Taylor Fritz for a fifth time in a row. He made another run in Halle, but Daniil Medvedev continued his recent dominance against him by defeating him for a fourth time in succession in the semi-finals.
Rinderknech is not the easiest of first-round opponents for the German but Zverev has vastly improved in terms of managing to get through the early rounds of slams with minimal fuss. He is serving well and is likely to get through in straight sets.
