Arthur Cazaux came from a set down to beat Dusan Lajovic in the final stage of qualifying and enter the main draw of Wimbledon. The Frenchman was able to reach the second-round of the event last year. Cazaux’s only other tournament on grass in 2025 saw him lose in the first-round of the Nottingham Open to compatriot Adrian Mannarino.
Adam Walton lost in both the qualifying of the Libema Open and Mallorca Championships. He also fell to a defeat to Aleksander Vukic in the Queen’s Club qualifiers but still entered the main draw as a lucky loser after Alejandro Davidovich Fokina’s withdrawal. He held his own against five-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz in the first-round, even having two set points to take the match into a decider. Alcaraz saved them both and went on to win 6-4 7-6.
Cazaux defeated Walton 7-5 6-1 in the first-round of the Adelaide International at the start of the year. This match is difficult to call but Cazaux has more recent wins under his belt and may just have enough to win.
