Anna Blinkova got her first win of the season at the sixth attempt as she defeated Dalma Galfi in straight sets. Despite her poor form heading into the match, it was an assured start from Blinkova, who took the first set comfortably. She went a break down twice in the second, but made a magnificent recovery from 5-2 down as she reeled off five games in a row to win 6-4 7-5.
