Anhelina Kalinina has never made it past the second round at Wimbledon and the former world number 25 is in fairly average form. She went out in the second round against McCartney Kessler at the Eastbourne Open last week.
Kamilla Rakhimova heads into this one on the back of failing to qualify for the Eastbourne Open, beaten by Oksana Selekhmeteva in three sets. Rakhimova did reach the quarter-finals of Queen’s earlier this month before being beaten by Emma Raducanu.
Rakhimova did put in some good performances at Queen’s but there is a gulf between here and Kalinina, and the Ukrainian is expected to go through – albeit it may not be straightforward.
