Andrey Rublev’s experience of Dubai 2026 has a distinctive French flavour.
The Russian sauntered to a 6-3 6-4 win over Valentin Royer in the first round and now faces his compatriot Ugo Humbert for a place in the last eight.
Ugo opened with a 6-4 7-5 triumph over Stefanos Tsitsipas and will now do battle with Rublev for a sixth time.
