Anastasija Sevastova vs Camila Osorio prediction
Anastasija Sevastova last competed in the Morocco Open where she made the quarter-finals before losing to Jacqueline Cristian in straight sets. That was her best result of the season after being out for over a year prior. She is set to play in her first grass court event since Wimbledon 2021 which saw her register her best result when she made the third-round.
Despite making the semi-finals in Morocco, where she was also on the end of a defeat to Cristian, Camila Osorio suffered a disappointing Roland Garros as she lost in the first-round. She took the first set against Arantxa Rus but eventually lost out 4-6 6-2 6-4. She has struggled to recapture the form which saw her win the title at Copa Colsanitas in late March.
Sevastova has not competed on a grass court in years which gives the edge to Osorio. The Colombian is not at her best but should be favoured to get through this first-round match.
