Amanda Anisimova vs Madison Keys prediction

Amanda Anisimova’s six match winning run ended in her first group stage match of the WTA Finals as she was soundly beaten by Elena Rybakina. Anisimova’s last event was almost a month ago in Beijing, when she won the China Open, and she was second-best from the start here as Rybakina dominated the match from the get-go. The two-time Grand Slam finalist could not break the Rybakina serve and only forced one break point as she lost 6-3 6-1 after just 57 minutes.

Madison Keys also made a slow start in Riyadh as she was thrashed by Iga Swiatek. Keys was twice broken on serve early on and never recovered, losing 6-1 6-2. This was the Australian Open champion’s first match in over two months due to injury, and she seemed far from her best.

Anisimova’s more powerful game gives her a better chance of dictating a lot of the rallies indoors, and she will start this match as the clear favourite to notch her first win of the event so far.
