Alycia Parks vs Rebecca Sramkova prediction

Alycia Parks pulled off one of her best results of the season in the last round as she came from a set down to defeat top seed Emma Navarro. Parks started the match strongly and went 4-2 up but Navarro reeled off four straight games to take the first set. That did not deter Parks however, as she broke right at the start of the second and third sets to seal a fabulous 4-6 6-3 6-2 win.

Her opponent in the next round is Rebecca Sramkova after she beat two-time winner Leylah Fernandez. Sramkova was a set and a break down against the Canadian but fought back superbly to win 2-6 6-3 6-2 after two hours and nine minutes.

This is their first tour-level match, but they did face each other in the first stage of qualifying for the 2022 French Open with Sramkova coming from a set down to win. Both players are coming into this on the back of fine victories, but the Czech is ranked over 30 places higher than her opponent and should be considered a strong favourite to advance.
