Caty McNally impressed at Wimbledon earlier this summer, putting up a good fight in her second round three-set defeat to eventual champion Iga Swiatek. Since then, USA’s McNally continues to impress as she emerged victorious in Newport, defeating German first seed Tatjana Maria in the final thanks to some excellent clutch play.
Fellow American Alycia Parks hasn’t been in such good form, losing in the first round at SW19 and winning just three games in the process against Belinda Bencic, before being knocked out in the Round of 16 in Prague.
McNally is red hot right now, so she’ll be expected to come out of the traps flying. Back the 23-year-old from Cincinnati to dominate Parks early on, and eventually coast home to victory.
