However, it was to be a disappointing first-round exit for the two-time Grand Slam champion as she lost in straight sets to Bianca Andreescu.
Krejcikova leads the head-to-head 1-0, defeating Parks three years ago in the quarter-finals of the Ostrava Open on indoor hard court. This should be an ideal match for the Czech to return to winning ways.
