Alexandre Muller will need to improve his form on grass if he’s to push on into the world’s top 40 in the coming weeks. 

The Frenchman has only two wins - both at Wimbledon-  to his name when it comes to the turf.

The fifth seed will be the favourite against Roman Safiullin, but the Russian leads the head-to-head and is also a former quarter-finalist at Wimbledon.
