Alexandre Muller vs Miomir Kecmanovic prediction

Alexandre Muller returns to Hong Kong as the defending champion, having beaten Kei Nishikori in the final right at the start of last year. That was the Frenchman’s best result of the year and his only title. He did show promise at other events, making the final in Rio later in the season, but he was largely inconsistent.

Miomir Kecmanovic is his first-round opponent. He also picked up a title on the ATP Tour last season as he won the Delray Beach Open, while he got through to the semi-finals in Adelaide right at the start of 2025. 

These two have faced each other on three occasions with Muller leading 2-1. Muller won their first meeting at this event last year on his way to the title in a dramatic three set match. Nevertheless, Kecmanovic did convincingly win their last match a few months ago in Stockholm. These two are fairly evenly matched and this could head into three sets.
