Alexandre Muller vs Miomir Kecmanovic prediction
Alexandre Muller is set to feature in his first match since his heavy defeat to Corentin Moutet in Washington. Moutet completely dominated the encounter, winning 6-0 6-1 and Muller will hope to get back to winning ways immediately. He does have a title on hard courts this year after winning the Hong Kong Open at the very start of the year, but he has won just three times on the surface since that triumph.
Miomir Kecmanovic edged a tight match against Quentin Halys to get his Canadian Open campaign off to a winning start. Halys broke to go 3-1 up in the decider, but Kecmanovic recovered straight away and broke ahead at the end of the set to win 4-6 6-4 7-5. The Serbian also has a title in 2025 on the surface after his win at Delray Beach in the middle of February.
Muller leads the head-to-head 1-0, having beaten Kecmanovic in a dramatic three set match on the very first day of the year on his way to winning the title in Hong Kong. The Frenchman saved two match points that day. There’s just 10 places separating these two players in the rankings and we expect another close encounter between the pair.
