Alexandre Muller vs Brandon Nakashima prediction

Alexandre Muller will hope to end his losing run before the end of the season as has not picked up a victory in his last four matches. It began in the second-round of the China Open, with the Frenchman following that up with first-round losses in Shanghai, Stockholm and Basel. His best result of the season came all the way back in early January, when he won the Hong Kong Open.

Brandon Nakashima is his opponent in round one. The American is not in the best of form either but has picked up a few more wins in recent times. His European indoor season has seen him lose in the second-round of Almaty and Vienna. Nevertheless, despite no title or finals, Nakashima has been pretty consistent in 2025 with three semi-finals and five further quarter-final appearances.

Nakashima will be viewed as the clear favourite to win this, possibly in straight sets.
