Alexandre Muller vs Alexander Shevchenko prediction
Alexandre Muller’s disappointing season continued at Wimbledon as he was blown away by Tommy Paul in the first-round of Wimbledon after just an hour and 13 minutes. That was his first appearance since retiring at Roland Garros, and the Frenchman is searching for his first tour-level win since the beginning of April. Muller’s ranking has now dropped to outside the top 130, despite being ranked as high as 38 less than a year ago.
He will look to end his losing run against Alexander Shevchenko. The Kazakhstani lost his round one match at SW19 after a straight sets loss to third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime. His best result of the season was a run to the final in Bratislava on the Challenger Tour, but he has also suffered a number of early exits.
Muller will be desperate to pick up a victory in the first-round, but Shevchenko is a tougher opponent to face on clay.
Alexandre Muller vs Alexander Shevchenko tip: Over 20.5 games
