Alexandra Eala vs Claire Liu prediction

Alexandra Eala will hope to get back to winning ways after three straight defeats. She lost in the Suzhou quarter-finals and followed that up by failing to qualify for the Wuhan Open and losing to fellow youngster Tereza Valentova in round one of the Japan Women’s Open. It’s still been a strong year for the Filipino, who shocked the tennis world with her superb run to the semi-finals of the Miami Open. Eala backed that up later in the season with a final in Eastbourne and a title on the ITF circuit in Guadalajara.

Claire Liu will be searching for her first win on the WTA Tour this season after qualifying for the tournament. She was unable to do the same in Osaka after a straight sets loss to Caty McNally. Liu is currently ranked outside the top 300 of the world rankings and hasn't got past the quarter-final stage of any events this season. 

Eala will be expected to end her losing run here with a victory as she attempts to end the season strongly.
