Alexander Zverev showed no hangover from his Laver Cup heroics with a rock-solid win over Cameron Norrie.

The top seed was laser-focused as he posted a 7-6 6-4 success to move 9-0 up in his head-to-head with the battling Brit. 

The German will now face Juncheng Shang for the first time after the Chinese wildcard upset Sebastian Baez 5-7 6-3 7-5.

Shang definitely has the skills to move Zverev and make him uncomfortable but if the recent US Open champion serves well, it’ll be a big ask for the underdog to delight his home faithful again.
