Aleksander Vukic vs Sebastian Korda prediction
Aleksander Vukic made it through to the second-round as he beat Nicolas Moreno De Alboran 7-6 6-2. It seems like the Australian has turned a corner after a wretched run of form which saw him go months without a win on the ATP Tour.
Sebastian Korda has failed to make any inroads over the past month on clay. He lost early on in Monte-Carlo and lost in the second-round of the Barcelona Open to Stefanost Tsitsipas after getting past Matteo Arnaldi.
The American last competed in Madrid and fell at the third-round stage to Casper Ruud. Ruud, who went on to win the tournament, was always in control and raced to a 6-3 6-3 win.
Vukic leads the head-to-head 2-0 with both matches taking place on hard court. They went up against each other earlier this season in the second-round of the Australian Open, with the Australian coming from two sets to one down to stage an upset against Korda.
Korda’s all-round game should still be enough to win, though Vukic does seem to have found some form lately after reaching the semi-finals of the Estoril Challenger last week. We’re backing the American to get through in three sets.
Aleksander Vukic vs Sebastian Korda tip: Sebastian Korda to win 2-1
