Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Francisco Cerundolo prediction
Aleksandar Kovacevic enters the main draw of Queen’s Club as a lucky loser, as he lost in the second stage of qualifying to Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in straight sets. He began his grass court season at the Stuttgart Open last week, losing to Yannick Hanfmann in round one. Kovacevic has advanced to a couple of semi-finals in Brisbane and Hamburg this year, but his grass court record is not the strongest.
He faces Francisco Cerundolo in the first-round. This is the Argentine’s first event since the French Open. He was expected to make a deep run at the tournament, but he could only reach the third-round as he lost to Zachary Svajda in five sets. Cerundolo did not win a grass court match in either 2024 or 2025, and he will be hoping for a better showing this time around.
Cerundolo is vulnerable on grass, and Kovacevic could certainly trouble his opponent for at least a set here.
