Alejandro Tabilo vs Valentin Vacherot prediction
Alejandro Tabilo breezed through his first-round match at Roland Garros as he beat Kamil Majchrzak in straight sets. The Chilean was not broken on serve as he won 6-1 6-3 6-4 after just one hour and 53 minutes. Tabilo won a Challenger event in Aix-en-Provence last month, while he also made the final of the Rio Open earlier in the year. He is closing in on the top 30 of the world rankings.
He now takes on Valentin Vacherot. The 2025 Shanghai Masters champion marked his return with a four set win over Thomas Faurel. The Monegasque won the first two sets, but Faurel threatened a comeback as he won the third and had a set point in the fourth set tiebreak. However, Vacherot would win the next three points to seal a 6-3 6-4 3-6 7-6 (6) win.
Tabilo impressed in his first-round match and if he can continue with his aggressive but varied approach, he could cause problems for Vacherot.
