Alejandro Tabilo vs Pablo Carreno Busta prediction

Alejandro Tabilo began his Asian swing with a dominant win over Tommy Paul, but he was then beaten by Denis Shapovalov. The Chilean is back inside the world’s top 30 after an encouraging campaign overall. He won a Challenger event and also progressed to the final of the Rio Open during the Golden Swing. Tabilo received a bye in the first-round and now faces Pablo Carreno Busta. 

The Spaniard came from a set down to beat Mariano Navone in his opening match. Carreno Busta opened up a 4-1 lead in the first set, but Navone reeled off five games in a row to take the lead. The veteran crucially broke in the 12th game of the second and went ahead in the decider to win 4-6 7-5 6-3. He also saved 12 out of 14 break point opportunities.

Carreno Busta leads the head-to-head 2-1, though Tabilo did win their most recent match at the Italian Open this year. He has enough firepower in his game to see off the 35-year-old.
