Alejandro Tabilo will hope a switch to grass will provide the kick-start to what has been a difficult 2025.

The Chilean struggled for wins in the first part of the year and missed a chunk of the clay swing due to personal issues and injury. 

Statistically, the Chilean is strong on grass and won the title in Mallorca last year, with his big serve and plus-one forehand particularly potent. 

In contrast, Jesper de Jong has been highly active on the dirt in the last few months and has risen back into the world’s top 100 as a result. 

However, the Dutch wildcard is relatively inexperienced on grass with two defeats in his only main tour appearances on the surface.

Add in the fact de Jong has never beaten a leftie at the top-tier and the indicators suggest a much-improved Tabilo should adapt faster and pick up the win.
