He defeated top seed Lorenzo Musett in the final, saving championship points before going on to win. Alexander Bublik is his first-round opponent in Vienna. Bublik also won a title in Asia, as he won the Hangzhou Open last month. That was his fourth event win of an incredible season and he now up to his highest ranking of 16 in the world. His Asian swing did end feebly as he lost in the first-round of Beijing and Shanghai, but he has been able to reset ahead of the last few weeks of the campaign.
