Gold Coast Suns’ hopes of making a late charge for a spot in the finals suffered yet another blow as they were beaten for the fourth time in their last five matches. They pushed Brisbane Lions all the way last week but it was not enough and they now have a mountain to climb to keep their top eight hopes alive. West Coast Eagles have endured a dreadful campaign and come into this on the back of a four-game losing run.
