Geelong Cats were incredible during the regular season and start the finals as the favourites to clinch the premiership. They finished as minor premiers thanks to recording 13 straight victories, their last coming against West Coast Eagles as they posted 100+ points for the third game in succession. They now take on Collingwood in this qualifying final and while it will not be straightforward, the Cats look well-placed to advance. The Magpies edged Carlton to make it 12 wins from their last 13 games so they too are in excellent form but having lost their past three matchups against the Cats, it is the Geelong outfit that are favoured here.
