THE PREDICTION
Richmond successfully defended their AFL crown last year and the back-to-back champions will firmly believe that they can record another success in 2021. They proved to be too good for Geelong Cats in the Grand Final and come into this season opener with nine wins in their last ten matches to highlight the task ahead of Carlton here. The Blues failed to make the finals last time around with their 7-10 record not enough to see them finish in the top eight. They managed to win just one of their last five contests and with no win in their last ten against the Tigers, Richmond are likely to be too good once again.
