Essendon made it three straight wins thanks to seeing off West Coast
Eagles in an impressive win on the road last week. They will be eager to
extend their winning run to four matches in what is a real test of
where they’re at as they take on reigning premiers Richmond. The
visitors have struggled for consistency despite beating Adelaide Crows
last week, meaning their L-W sequence now stands at eight games. If that
trend continues here, another loss will be on the cards and while they
will believe that they are good enough to come out on top, the Bombers’
recent form is difficult to ignore and they look the pick with the aid
of a +15.5 handicap start.
