Geelong Cats were second best in their clash with minor premiers Port Adelaide last week and must now face the tricky task of overcoming Collingwood if they want to progress beyond the semi-finals. The Magpies edged a thriller with West Coast Eagles, fending their opponents off by just a single point and they will be full of confidence ahead of this clash with their rivals. Collingwood have won the last two matches between the two teams, including in last season’s play-offs and with the momentum earned from last week’s win, the Magpies are capable of edging this, although the margin of victory is likely to be no more than 20 points either way.
