Adrian Mannarino vs Tommy Paul prediction

Tommy Paul got his Cincinnati campaign off to a flyer with a dominant win over Pedro Martinez.

The American was too sharp and potent for the Spaniard as he powered to a 6-2 6-2 triumph.

The 13th seed will now face Adrian Mannarino after the veteran Frenchman clocked up another excellent victory with a 6-3 6-3 demolition of 19th seed Tomas Machac.

This will be the third meeting between the pair with honours currently even at one apiece. Mannarino won the most recent encounter on the indoor hardcourts of Paris last year with Paul prevailing at Wimbledon a year earlier.

Paul should have the edge here as he looks to impress on home turf, but there’s every chance Mannarino will make it a major battle and the odds may favour a punt on it going the distance over a routine victory for the American.
