Adrian Mannarino’s best result of the grass court season was a semi-final appearance at the Libema Open, where he lost to Alex de Minaur in straight sets. He defeated defending champion Gabriel Diallo in his opening match. He could only make the second-round at Wimbledon, losing to De Minaur once more. He now transitions back to hard courts, and his record on the surface does not make for pretty reading in 2026, as he has won just two of his nine matches. 

He has a tough first-round match as he faces Learner Tien. The young American struggled with illness at Wimbledon, losing in the second-round to Marton Fucsovics in four sets. It’s still been a fine season for Tien, as he won his first clay court title in Geneva and reached a Grand Slam quarter-final for the first time in Melbourne. He also advanced to the last eight at Indian Wells, highlighting his quality on hard courts in North America.
