Adam Walton vs Mariano Navone prediction

Adam Walton will be buoyed by his recent run in Los Cabos when he takes on lucky loser Mariano Navone in Cincinnati. 

The Aussie reached the last four in Mexico prior to a second round loss to Alexander Zverev in Toronto to put a run of just one win on seven behind him. 

Next up, he takes on Argentine Navone, who lost to Emilio Nava in qualifying, but gets the reprieve to face a player 11 places below him in ranking.

However, Navone is very much a clay court specialist with limited success on hard courts and given Walton’s recent exploits on the surface, he looks like a solid pick to come out on top in their first ever meeting.
