World number six Ons Jabeur was visibly devastated last week in Abu Dhabi as her recurring knee issue hampered her ability to perform. The Tunisian carries the inordinate weight of several nations and communities on her shoulders as an immensely popular tour favourite blazing the trail for Arab players across sport, not just tennis, and the constant threat of a knee injury only adds to that desperation to perform over this period of the calendar.
