THE PREDICTION
Tonga are riding the crest of a wave ahead of this final Group D fixture both for them and opponents Cook Islands. Although the latter were beaten by Papua New Guinea most recently, they could yet finish above Tonga with a big enough victory margin to overhaul them on points difference. However, question marks remain regarding the Cook Islands offence, which failed to score 20 points in each of their group games played so far. Against a Tonga side who have racked up scores of 24 and 32 in comparison, that is significant. When taking this into account, the smart move in this one is to back Tonga to come out on top for a third consecutive group match.
