- Fiji were given a run for their money against Scotland last week but ultimately did enough to finish in second spot behind Australia in Pool B which will see them take on New Zealand for the right to feature in the semi-finals.
Fiji caused an almighty upset back at the same stage of the 2017 RLWC when they dumped the Kiwis out of the tournament but they will have to go up a few levels to replicate that feat with the likes of Api Koroisau and Viliame Kikau set to be pivotal to their chances.

THE PREDICTION
New Zealand certainly boast the quality to win this Rugby League World Cup but their performances to date have not set the world alight and they need to be wary of slipping up against a potentially dangerous Fiji outfit. The Kiwis were dumped out of the last RLWC by Fiji in what was a stunning upset but that will serve as motivation for New Zealand to earn revenge. The Fijians have shown they have some superb players in their ranks during the tournament so far but they will need to put together a complete 80-minute effort to get the better of their opponents in this one and the Kiwis are unlikely to repeat their horror show of 2017 so expect them to run out comfortable winners by at least 18 points.
