THE PREDICTION
Man City will enter this derby as overwhelming favourites, but it would be foolish to write off Man Utd, who have already developed into a well-functioning, streetwise, dangerous unit under Erik ten Hag and full of confidence after winning their last four league matches. However, the home side contain a significant point of difference which may well prove the difference between the two teams. Striker Erling Haaland was close to signing for United back when he was at RB Salzburg. The move didn’t transpire and years later, the Norwegian finds himself in the Premier League scoring goals for fun with Man City. Haaland has netted 11 goals in seven league appearances so far this season and having scored in eight of his last nine for club and country, it’s hard not to see him continuing his superb run in-front of goal. Regardless of the final outcome between Man City and Man Utd, back Haaland to score anytime.
TIP: ERLING HAALAND TO SCORE ANYTIME
