THE LOWDOWN
EVERTON
- Sean Dyche’s Everton hammered Brighton and Hove Albion by five goals to one in their most recent outing, last week. The Toffees are still battling against relegation but they begin the weekend sitting just outside of the bottom three and the relegation places.
- Dyche will be tempted to stick with the same starting XI that took Brighton apart, which would mean a place in centre defence for Yerry Mina once more.
MAN CITY
- Manchester City shared a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the first-leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie, during the midweek. City sit at the top-of-the-table with a game-in-hand and they could go four points clear at the top after this one.
- Pep Guardiola has reported that Nathan Ake is feeling much better and a late decision will be made on his involvement, while there will be some big starting XI decisions to make with the Real Madrid second leg on the horizon.

THE PREDICTION
Everton have put in some massive performances at Goodison Park in each of their two battles against relegation. Their 1-0 defeat of Chelsea and come from behind win against Crystal Palace spring to mind. That said, though, Sean Dyche’s record against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City is really bad. The visitors may well be intent on rotation ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg but the visitors are overwhelming favourites for this one, albeit in a potentially low-scoring affair.
TIP: MAN CITY TO WIN
