FPL Gameweek 5 – head-to-head comparisons: Timo Werner vs Jamie Vardy
Despite Chelsea's 4-0 victory at home to Crystal Palace, it was further individual and FPL frustration for forward Timo Werner (£9.3m) who is still yet to score in the Premier League for the Blues. Whilst Jamie Vardy (£10.1m) scored a hat-trick in Gameweek 3, Gameweek 4 saw the Leicester striker draw a blank, as the Foxes went down 0-3 against West Ham.
Werner's next opportunity to grab his first Premier League goal comes against Southampton in Gameweek 5, whilst Vardy faces Aston Villa. The Foxes forward is clearly in better form and against a side whom he scored twice against in this fixture last season, you'd fancy him to outscore Werner in Gameweek 5.
