Monday, September 12

Denver Broncos @ Seattle Seahawks – 8:15pm ET

Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans – 1:00pm ET

Houston Texans stuttered to 4-13 last season and could be in for another tough campaign with a lack of star quality on their roster. They had little to work with in the draft having traded picks away and they look set to struggle in this AFC South matchup with Indianapolis Colts. The road team moved on from QB Carson Wentz in the off-season, turning to the experienced Matt Ryan who arrived from Atlanta Falcons and he can guide his new team to a comfortable win in this season-opener.

Prediction: Indianapolis Colts to cover -7 spread

Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers – 4:25pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers look set to be one of the main contenders to challenge for the Super Bowl this season with young QB Justin Herbert breaking out last season. He have some real offensive weapons that he can utilise and with a solid defense to boot, the Chargers look one of the more well-rounded teams in the NFL. However, while they can make big plays, they are still susceptible to conceding points. With star WR Davante Adams on deck for Las Vegas Raiders, the road team also have the potential to rack up the points this year and with the last game between the two producing 67 points, another high-scoring contest is in the offing here.

Prediction: Over 52 points

Denver Broncos @ Seattle Seahawks – 8:15pm ET

Russell Wilson parted ways with Seattle Seahawks during the off-season and the new Denver Broncos QB will make his first appearance against the team he made his name with. Wilson will lead a potentially very impressive offensive unit into this Monday Night Football contest and Lumen Field and he can come back to haunt his former team by leading the Broncos to the win in this one.

Prediction: Denver Broncos to win
