THE PREDICTION
The reigning Champions Cup and Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs will face the newly re-crowned Pro14 champions Leinster in a mouth-watering quarter-final clash at Sandy Park. Exeter resisted an early flurry from their last opponents Lyon to eventually win 47-25 via a comfortable second-half display, making it three wins at home on the spin now, whilst Leinster proceeded via a walkover after Toulon were forced to pull out with a positive covid-19 case. Any hangover the Pro14 champions might have suffered from their play-off final victory the week before their proposed matchwith Toulon will be long-gone now and this match looks like the must-watch occasion this Saturday. With their domestic season concluded, Leinster can put all their eggs into this basket and face a more fallible Exeter Chiefs than usual. The Chiefs have lost three of their last seven matches over all competitions, and been pressed hard in others, and Leinster will go for the jugular here so take the away side to win what should be an incredible spectacle.
