Leigh Leopards produced an underwhelming effort last week as they were blown away by Hull KR in a repeat of their Challenge Cup final from earlier in August. The Leopards were victorious that day but fell well short last week and they are now, realistically, out of contention to finish top of the table. Huddersfield Giants moved a step closer to forcing their way into top six contention as they edged a tight affair with Leeds Rhinos last time out as they avoided a third successive loss but with Leigh hurting after last week’s poor showing, the home side should be galvanised to produce a much better display and can make an immediate return to winning ways.
