Sydney Roosters got back to their defensive best as they nilled New Zealand Warriors last week. The Roosters were forced into defending their line a lot but did a superb job as they made it successive victories. They now go in search of a third straight success in this clash with struggling North Queensland Cowboys who come into this contest on the back of a huge loss to Cronulla Sharks. They were outclassed in that clash and have now lost four of their last five. Things could get ugly once again for the Cowboys with the Roosters being able to punish them and they are fancied to do just that, covering the -11.5 handicap.
