NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS

  • North Queensland Cowboys continued their remarkable turnaround as they claimed an enormous 74-0 victory over Wests Tigers in what was the biggest winning margin in the NRL era.
  • That is now four successive victories for the Cowboys and they have averaged just over 44 points per game across their four recent wins with an unchanged side named for this clash, although there could be some late changes if those that played Origin need to be rested.

THE PREDICTION

This is a really important clash in the race to make the finals as Manly Sea Eagles host North Queensland Cowboys. The Sea Eagles produced one of their best performances of the season as they got the better of Sydney Roosters last time out but this is a really tough matchup as they take on a Cowboys side that have won their last four. They have been excellent with the ball of late and while there is some doubt surrounding their Origin stars backing up, their form of late is difficult to ignore either way and they have to be fancied to keep their winning streak intact.
