IGNACIO BAHAMONDES VS TREY OGDEN LOWDOWN
Unfortunately, we only got to see Ignacio Bahamondes (13-4) once last year. But it was another exciting finish. He wrapped Zhu Rong up in a Brabo choke which was over a year ago now. That made it two finishes in a row after that unforgettable spinning back kick knockout on Roosevelt Roberts (2021) with five seconds left of the fight.
Thankfully, Trey Ogden’s (16-4) fight camp preparing for Manuel Torres has not completely gone to waste after that scheduling fell through a couple weeks ago at UFC on ESPN 43. He is desperate to build on his first UFC win back in September last year earning a unanimous decision over Daniel Zellhuber. That came with great relief after losing his debut five months prior to Jordan Leavitt who squeaked past with a split decision.

This is at a catchweight of 160 lbs to help Ogden. It is always a worry when a fighter has already endured a cut and has to make another so soon.
He will also have his hands full here as Bahamondes will boast three inches in reach and four in height. The Chilean is a flashy striker who has particularly dangerous kicks which will cause damage from distance.
Ogden needs to close that distance as he has decent boxing and can take the fight away from Bahamondes with his grappling. He is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and will try and get the fight to the ground.
If he succeeds with his takedowns, he will be great value as a hefty underdog. However, we are backing Bahamondes to hurt Ogden before the fights goes to the floor. His movement and kicks should be able to cause damage while keeping Ogden at bay.
