THE LOWDOWN

TOTTENHAM

  • A comfortable 2-0 win for Tottenham over Brentford was their second half victory in the Premier League under Antonio Conte, who remains unbeaten in the top flight as Spurs boss.
  • Cristian Romero and Dane Scarlett will miss out once again for Tottenham here, as will Giovani Lo Celso but the Argentinian will likely return to the fold after the weekend.

NORWICH

  • Whilst Norwich remain unbeaten under new head coach Dean Smith, they missed a huge opportunity to pick up three points in midweek, only managing to draw 1-1 with Newcastle despite playing against ten men for the vast majority of the game.
  • Smith will have been pleased to see Todd Cantwell train with the squad over the past few days having recovered from COVID-19 and it would be no surprise to see him line up against Spurs, however neither Milot Rashica nor Mathias Normann will be fit in time.

THE PREDICTION

Whilst it still doesn’t feel like Tottenham are playing to their full potential, Antonio Conte is starting to get a tune out of his players and especially at home, they look a very tough proposition for any side. As you would expect under the Italian, they are very well organised defensively and with the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son within their ranks going forward, it would be a surprise if they were not to find the net at least once against Norwich, who have their work cut out for them here. The Canaries may not be the soft touch they were under Daniel Farke, but they shouldn’t prevent Spurs from having too much for their opponents across the field in this one. Provided Tottenham are clinical in front of goal, they should secure a third successive Premier League win on their own ground.

Tip: TOTTENHAM TO WIN
