THE PREDICTION
Roy Hodgson returns to a Crystal Palace side yet to win in 2023 and just three points off the bottom three and the relegation places. Hodgson will get The Eagles more organised in what is likely to be a 4-4-2 system and given the array of expressive attackers they have, a structured environment should benefit them in an effective manner. Leicester are in serious trouble and have been reliant on high-scoring victories to stay clear of the bottom three. A high-scoring thriller is unlikely to take place in a Roy Hodgson opening game. Given that, Palace will be slight favourites with home advantage but their desire and intent, which they have been generally good at anyway, will be locking the opposition down.
