The final of this final bout is between Keyshawn Davis of the United States and Andy Cruz of Cuba. Team USA are yet to win Olympic gold in the Tokyo boxing whilst Cuba have had an excellent games with two goals, a silver and a bronze already.
Davis and Cruz both enjoyed comfortable semi-final victories given judges score of 5-0 each. Neither have been in any strife throughout the competition so far.
There is a favourite for this despite the similar strong form they have shown throughout the games and that is Cruz. They fought each other in the final of both the Pan American games and the World Championships with Cruz coming out on top in both bouts. Therefore, the Cuban comes into this as the favourite.
