The Stats Zone have often worked directly with football clubs and part of our service has involved us providing these clubs with a list of young players who have either broken through to the first team of their respective clubs, or are on the verge of doing so.
With Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott making headlines this season after becoming the youngest ever player to take to the pitch in a Premier League match (16 years and 30 days), we’ve now decided to publish and maintain these lists on thestatszone.com. Our records cover players from the ages of 16 to 21 across the top four tiers of English football.
Below is a frequently updated list of any 17-year-old footballers who have either played in, or been on the substitutes’ bench of, a first-team match for a Premier League club in the 2019-20 season. This list covers domestic as well as European and international club competitions.
Harwood-Bellis (Manchester City)
Mengi (Manchester United)
Parrott (Tottenham Hotspur)
Saydee (AFC Bournemouth)
