THE PREDICTION

World number seven Andrey Rublev looks to be coming back into form just in time to put a spanner in the works at Wimbledon and the Russian is into his first final since the Monte-Carlo Open in April. 23-year-old Rublev was a staple of ATP 50 finals for much of last season but a first final on grass will be a welcome one indeed as he looks to improve his versatility. Taking him on is world number 31 Ugo Humbert who was also in some excellent form last season before falling away for the best part of this year. However, the Frenchman has beaten Alexander Zverev, Sebastian Korda and Felix Auger-Aliassime to reach this stage and he too looks to be finding his feet again just in time for an intriguing Wimbledon campaign. Rublev was the winner in their only previous encounter but it took three sets to separate the pair in St. Petersburg last year and could well do again so take the Russian as outright winner here or for the match to see three sets.
