Whilst Argentinian number one Diego Schwartzman clinched his place in the Argentina Open final with a total domination over the fourth seed Miomir Kecmanovic, the story here will be the incredible run to face him by qualifier Francisco Cerundolo. Less than a week after his younger brother Juan Manuel beat Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the final of the Cordoba Open, Francisco repeated the feat in the semi-finals here in an absolute dream of a fortnight for the Cerundolo family. It is a shame for Francisco that he has a much tougher hill to climb now in the final than Juan Manuel last week, as he faces the in-form number nine Diego Schwartzman off the back of a faultless run to the final. Schwartzman is yet to win a title in his homeland and will be the solid favourite to win what will be a special occasion between two Argentinians in the capital where fans will be sorely missed. The romantic choice is unlikely to cut it at this stage. Schwartzman will be totally aware of the hype around the Cerundolo brothers by now and has the experience of winning three finals behind him. Realistically, this should be a straight sets victory for the first seed but, even if it goes to a decider, it is hard to see a clean sweep in Argentina for the Cerundolo's.
