THE PREDICTION
Brive were thumped 66-3 at Edinburgh last Friday in the Challenge Cup but a 33-25 win at home to Pau the week before was their fifth of the season across all competitions, each coming on their own turf. They look the fair favourites to overcome travelling Biarritz, who sit rock-bottom of the Top 14 on two less bonus points than their hosts. The visitors’ last win did come on the road, albeit at Challenge Cup minnows Zebre back in December, but they have lost each of their trips in the league so far. Brive covered -8 at home to Pau two weeks ago and taking them to cover around -5 here looks a reasonable target.
